Start your journey towards Shimla in a comfortable ride with our trustworthy and experienced drivers. At reaching Shimla you can relax in the hotel and then go out for a short excursion in the queen of hills. Shimla offers you a variety of activities to indulge in around the town and also has multiple places to visit. Roam in the market and go towards the Ridge where you can roam on the Mall Road, Scandal Point and delight yourselves with snacks and tea which you will find easily around. Then come back to your hotel for a warm and comfortable sleep.
Today you will be going for the town excursion in Shimla, where you will visit a number of places such as Jakhoo Temple Kufri, ViceRegal Lodge, Annadele,Army Heritage Museum and Tara Devi Temple. Start with Jakhoo temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and it is believed that lord Hanuman rested on the Jakhoo peak on his way back to Lanka to save Lord Laxman. You will see a lot of monkeys everywhere around the temple.The temple also holds a 108 ft. tall statue of Hanuman. Moving ahead, visit ViceRegal lodge which is also known as the Institute of Advanced Studies. It was the summer residence of the Viceroy during British Rule. Head towards the Annadele army museum and a huge grass ground which is not very common in Shimla. The army heritage museum is a home to a collection of army flags, traditional and modern weapons, armoury and other military items. Next, you will visit Tara Devi temple which is situated at a distance of 10 km. in the exteriors or Shimla. This temple provides a panoramic view of Shimla and few other parts of the town. On your way back to the hotel you might also visit Sankat Mochan mandir which is devoted to Lord Hanuman. On reaching the hotel, have a savoring meal and then a nice and comfortable sleep.
On the 3rd day you will be going to Manali through some major towns of Himachal Pradesh like Mandi and Kullu. This 8 hour journey will leave you fascinated as you will witness a slight change in the surroundings but there is one thing that remains unchanged that is the beauty of the places. On reaching Manali in the evening you can relax in the hotel or go for a short outing around your hotel. Afterwards have a delicious dinner and a decent sleep.
Today, you will be visiting the Manali Town for an excursion where you can experience and witness the life of the local population and head towards the Manali market to save some souvenirs as a token of memory in Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple to take the blessings from this ancient temple built according to the famous kathkuni style in the 15th century. You can also go to Manali Mall road in the night and have some delicious momos. Go for an educational excursion to the art & culture museum. Afterwards go to Manu temple which is devoted to Sage Manu. Later on go to Vashist village where you can have a hot bath in Vashisht Rishi temple. The sulphuric water is said to cure many skin diseases, bone issues and body pain. After taking the blessings at Vashisht temple, come back to your hotel and have a savoring meal prior to a warm and cosy sleep.
Start your day with a mesmerizing view outside your room window and have a delicious breakfast. Today you will go towards Solang Valley and Atal Tunnel. This is definitely a sight to catch on. There is another option for you to visit as well, that is Rohtang Pass, it is a high motorable road which offers a majestic optical view of the valley and the snow clad mountain tops.
Solang Valley is famous for its scenic beauty and various adventure activities like paragliding, zorbing and quad biking etc. Afterwards you will head towards Rohtang Pass which connects Kullu with Lahaul and it is situated at the altitude of +13000 ft.
Your Next stop will be the mighty Atal Tunnel which is a major tourist attraction of Himachal Pradesh. This tunnel is the longest single tunnel tunnel above the height of +10000 ft and stretching as far as 9.2 km.
Later, reach back at the hotel and enjoy a hearty meal before going to your warm and cosy bed.
Please Note: Since NGT (Nation Green Tribunal) is allowing only limited vehicle to Rohtang Pass per day, the Rohtang Pass sightseeing will be subject to availability of the permit available on the spot. Also the cab services (including permission charges) will Cost extra depending on the vehicle opted on sharing basis/ individual basis by the customer. Rohtang pass is remained closed form 15th November to 15th April and on every Tuesday.
Prepare yourself for another wonderful road trip towards Khajjiar, Chamba. Leave Manali early so you can reach Chamba prior to evening. You will be advancing through Kullu, Baijnath and Palampur for this 7- 8 hour journey. On your way to Chamba, you can also visit Tea Gardens and Baijnath Temple. On reaching Khajjiar in the evening, feel the change in the winds and landscape around you and visit Khajji Temple after which the name of this place is derived. Khajjiar is also known as ‘ Mini Switzerland of India and afterwards you can go for a minor excursion around your hotel. Then come back to the hotel and have a comfortable sleep post a savoring meal.
This day is going to be awesome as you will be traveling to Chamba town, Dalhousie and the nearby sites to absorb all your attention as Chamba offers the most beautiful views in Himachal Pradesh. Head towards Dalhousie which is named after Lord Dalhousie, Viceroy of India during British rule. Dalhousie is the home to some Colonial era structures which adds up to its beauty. You will visit Dainkund peak which leads to Pholani Devi temple. The peak also offers a panoramic 360° view of the place. On your way towards Chamba, you might also visit Chamera Dam where you can indulge in boating (at your own expense) and then proceed to Chamba town to witness the market and the famous Chaugan ground which earlier served as a cricket ground for British people. You can visit various temples in the town and then head back to your hotel for a delicious dinner and some chit chat with your mates or family as this will be the last day of your tour. Later, go and enjoy a cosy sleep in your comfortable accommodation.
